OH! So she DOES graze...

I turned the horses out on pasture and after wandering and pacing a little, Joy started grazing.

Well that is good, progress. How are the itchy scratchy's today? Poor thing.

Do any riding last night?

Nope. No riding. I got the barn chores done so I wouldn't have to work in the heat. It's very pleasant here this am, though I waste most of it waiting for the farrier to show. :O(

Oh well...so goes the life of the horse owner, right?

So true.

Joy looks really good.

She definitely looks a LOT better. I'm beginning to wonder if her itchiness is related to the fact that she doesn't lay down to rest. Maybe it's like shingles in people where her skin hurts or maybe she's just so dang itchy all the time she can't rest.

She looks a lot better! I think your approach is working - I think she has whole-body issues more than just specific things you can treat. I treated the specific things but more popped up because she needed to have the root causes addressed, not just, for instance, have viodine baths.
