Frankie goes to Hollywood...Oh wait, I mean Pasco
As promised, here's the new kid. Frankie showed up while I was gone. He gets along with the other babies fabulously, although Millie is a bit of a bully at feeding time. In the 4th picture, you can see just how big Bullwinkle is. Bullwinkle is 1 1/2 yrs old. Frankie is 2 1/2 yrs old.

It is my understanding that Frankie is for sale. I don't know anything about other than a-He's palomino, b-he's 2 1/2, and c-he's in my arena
He is a pretty boy. Looks like he needs some feed, though. Or is that just the photo. Bullwinkle is a moose!
He a little thin for my liking, but it could be that he's just so big. Also, he could have just gone through a growth spurt and isn't back up to weight. Plus we don't want those growing babies to be too heavy.
Not to worry! Horses get fat living at my house!
Bullwinkle is a huge MONSTER! My hope is that he got all his height early and won't get a whole lot taller. One of these days, I'm going to get a "stick" and find out just how tall he really is! He seems to be perepetually "butt-high".

Frankie grows SO fast. He has done nothing but shoot upwards since he was a baby and it does not seem to be slowing down. I always think he is a little thinner than I'd like, too, but he's half Thoroughbred and the vets have always said not to fall into the temptation to overfeed while he's growing. He can be a bit ribby as long as his butt looks good, which it does.
I know he's going to very much enjoy his winter with the baby moose! He will be for sale in the spring after he's green broke - I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do it myself or not so he might ultimately be in Washington or he might be in California. Not sure yet.
