If you look below the point of the hip, you can see filling in of the flank. He's still got a long way to go, but he's doing so much better. I turned him out on pasture next to Angel for some exercise.
Where are the ads?? I got a message from Google Ads that said "While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers."
Hmm...how does a blog about the recovery of a starving horse pose a significant risk? The ads I saw (though I couldn't click on them) looked to be something that the advertisers would WANT to be on this blog. Whatever!

Gosh what a difference; he looks remarkably better.
Amazing what some decent food, creative farriery and a heap of TLC will do - WELL DONE : )
He's a real credit to you
I can't believe how fast he is putting on weight!! You're doing an amazing job Karen. Keep up the great work and keep us posted!
Sorry to hear about your adds :o( Every one I clicked on seemed to be a really good match... idk why they would do that.
Wow, the pictures of the backbone are ALOT different, just imagine how he will look in another 2 weeks! Great Job!
Oh man, that is AWESOME improvement! What a good boy (and you deserve a cookie, too)!!
Wow. Wow. Amazing. And the previous owner should be shot. 14 days! Like you said before- this could have totally been prevented...and easily!
Karen,
What an amazing job you have done. I can definitely see the difference.
