Originally, this blog was started to chronicle the journey of what can happen when a forgotten horse falls into the loving hands of people who care. Joy has left us, but in letting her go, I continue to live the lessons that she taught me, and attempt to Restore Joy to other horses that come into my life.

She's cute!
Ooops, I didn't mean to hit enter....What's her story??
She is Halter bred, and spent years as a broodmare on the same farm that Bullwinkle came from. Not BW's mom, but one of the other mares.
In a couple of weeks, she will be pregnancy tested. She "might" be bred, though she is 23 and might be past that. We'll see.
Not sure of the "whole" story, other than she needed an upgrade and got one.
Glad she landed at your house! Hope shes not in foal, poor old lady deserves a retirement!
I owned her for 3 years, sold her 7 years ago. I have often wondered how she was doing. Glad she landed in a good place to retire.
Oh and btw she is pleasure and cow bred not halter bred.
