We just had to. It looked like crap. I'm SO HAPPY with how it turned out. I still have to plant my Spring bulbs (Daffodils, Tulips, and Crocus) but I've got a few months to get that done.

Originally, this blog was started to chronicle the journey of what can happen when a forgotten horse falls into the loving hands of people who care. Joy has left us, but in letting her go, I continue to live the lessons that she taught me, and attempt to Restore Joy to other horses that come into my life.

Looks very nice Karen!
Good choice with the red mulch vs. the gray rock. The gray rock did nothing to make your house's gray to "pop" from the ground, so it looked overall bland. The red really makes the whole thing look fresh. :) ::house envy::
