Pictures and Stuff

Tomorrow, it'll be three weeks since Kaci got here. I don't see a whole lot of difference. Do you?

Day of Arrival

3 weeks later.

Mr. Funny Face!

Shyanna arrived in the dark, so I wasn't able to get a good look at her. But in the light of day, she doesn't look too bad. In fact, I think she looks pretty good. She could use a few more pounds (in my humble opinion) but I think she's fine.

Kaci is lucky to have such a loving home to come back to. I think I can see a slight difference already. It's hard to tell be cause he was kindof scruffy in the first photos- long winter hair and all. It's obvious he has gotten some good grooming tim in but it does look like his ribs are less pronounced and he might be filling back in a bit around his shoulders and whithers. Poor guy. I feel so bad when they start out in an obviously loving home, and are sold on with hopes that they are going on to bigger and better things and their life just takes a crash dive. I hope this is a whole new chapter for him.

I agree, his shoulders look a little better. In fact, even though he's lost the winter woolies, he looks a little bit "softer" in the chest and hip. Not a whole lot, but a little.

Too bad my sister's kid just passed the 5 week mark...she will be shopping for an oldy but a goody soon as he can sit up I'm sure! ( :

Unfortunately, Kaci is not appropriate for beginners or kids. He needs an intermediate-advanced rider capable of handling his little rearing habit that his 13 yr old former owner taught him.

Nice, huh?

That is an absolute shame!

He is showing improvment! I agree with all the others, mostly in his front end.

Rearing huh? That is no fun. I hope it wasn't intentionally taught... Good luck with him Karen.
