Poor Beau......hopefully it is just from his recent trim and his feet grow out to be "normal" someday!

Makes me angry that people can't afford a $25/trim regularly to avoid this. I paid for a neighbor's horse to be trimmed because it had such bad feet and founder. The hoof wall looked like swiss cheese. The neighbor was still able to find someone to buy that horse.....not sure how!Drillriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07237598511944008927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283889904866601329.post-85869586190590912162009-11-17T17:07:04.032-08:002009-11-17T17:07:04.032-08:00Poor dude could hardly walk this morning. :o(Poor dude could hardly walk this morning. :o(Karen Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03905570178257490375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283889904866601329.post-27715316736409025352009-11-17T10:33:47.334-08:002009-11-17T10:33:47.334-08:00Considering what you started with on Beau's fe...Considering what you started with on Beau's feet, I'd say they are looking GREAT! The hoof wall takes an entire year to grow out from the coronet band, so expecting miracles quickly just doesn't happen when the feet were neglected that badly. Hang in there!!Drillriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07237598511944008927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283889904866601329.post-90126033294911179342009-11-14T20:05:03.765-08:002009-11-14T20:05:03.765-08:00Glad to get the positive news on the old fellows f...Glad to get the positive news on the old fellows feet!Nikkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07121188185593072355noreply@blogger.com
